Do you plan out your grocery shopping before you go, or do you just head out, hit up the same store, buying the same products every week?
I take the time to look through the Sunday ads, searching for the best deals out there. All of the grocery stores I like to visit are just parking lots away from each other, so the gas I burn doesn't defeat the savings I make by visiting multiple stores. (I also view the ads online rather than buying the Sunday paper, as that saves me an additional $1.50!) In order to make sure I don't miss a deal, I make out my list according to the deals at each store.
At the bottom, you'll notice cottage cheese, veggies, and other random products that were not listed on sale, so I bought it at the first store where the price felt right. I always hit up ALDI first, because I can't find an ad for them online and most of their products are cheaper than anywhere else (for example: 25cents for a can of tomato sauce). I will occasionally run to Walmart, but that's usually for LAUGHING COW cheese because it's $1 less than anywhere else. Which reminds me, new wedge flavors come out this month, including light blue cheese, light mozzarella sun-dried tomato & basil, and light queso fresco and chipotle. Me cannot waitz! I can explain my excitement about the tomato basil one! Laughing Cow, please don't let me down!!
**Side note: Have you ever heard of THE CHRISTMAS TREE SHOPS? It's a really neat store that sells seasonal items, obviously Christmas stuff at Christmas time, but has everything you can imagine for the summer season! I found random organic products, suntan lotion that until not I could only find at Ron Jon in Florida, and other random items! One random item was the Laughing Cow cheese for $2.49, a whopping 50 cents less than at Walmart! woohoo!!
Question of the Day: How do you organize your grocery list?

I was disappointed in the Christmas Tree Shoppes. I was expecting an all Christmas store and saw tiki huts etc...BOO!
I usually have a list but always forget something on it.
The first time I went to one it was at Christmas time, so it was absolutely awesome!! :)
I organize my grocery list by the layout of the store and since I do the majority of my shopping at Walmart Super Center, I follow their layout:
fruits/veges
p/b and condiments
dry foods
meats
dairy products
I have a large file folder for my coupons and keep it in with my reusable bags.
I ♥ Laughing Cow cheese! I mix it with my egg whites in the morning and it makes my tummy so happy! :)
I am a grocery list maker. CANNOT go there with out my list! YUM, those laughing cow flavors sound good. Can't wait to try them. Perfect time for their arrival too since I am just TEN DAYS OUT!!!
totally random, but i love your handwriting! :)
